Their depths the kind we will never see again,
وہاں عجیب سا سناٹا تھا
To this day, their burning energy lights up the farthest galaxies,
مانو الفاظ جیسے ختم ہی ہو گئے ہوں
Among the hundred billion stars, they whispered,
گلہ, شکوہ, نہ کوئی جھوٹی صفائی کچھ بھی تو نہیں بچا تھا
For centuries, on subatomic levels, they collided,
صدیوں کا ساتھ نبھانے کا وعدہ لمحوں میں ٹوٹ گیا تھا
وہاں کچھ اور بھی تھا جو بڑی زور سے ٹوٹا تھا
They collapsed and reignited, and collapsed,
ایک نہیں کئی ٹکڑوں میں, کئی بار ٹوٹا تھا وہ دل
اس بے جان ہوتے دل میں آس ابھی بھی باقی تھی
The intergalactic travellers mourned with hope,
کہ شاید اس کے پہلو میں بیٹھا شخص
یوں بیچ راستے میں اسے چھوڑ کے نہ جائے
In an ever expanding universe, they believed,
محبت سے لگائے ان کے رشتے کے اس بوٹے کو
اس طرح سوکھنے کیلئے نہ چھوڑا جائے
In the language of their hearts,
کتنا مان تھا اس کے دل میں
They made the greatest discovery in time,
مگر وہ شخص اب فیصلہ کر چکا تھا
To survive, they exploded,
اس پرانے رشتے کو ادھورا چھوڑ کے
نئے راستے کی طرف چل پڑا
In between universes,
مزید رکنے کا جواز تو اب باقی نہ رہا تھا
The travellers parted,
پیچھے رہ جانے والے بے جان سے وجود نے پکارا
Like the most luminous collapsed core of a neutron star,
تو چلتے قدم تھم سے گئے
Like the black hole so strong that it absorbs horizons,
مگر اب سامنہ کرنا ممکن نہ تھا
Their stellar explosion had the power comparable to that of entire galaxies,
پلٹے بنا ہونٹوں کو معمولی سی حرکت دی
اور کہہ بھی سکا تو بس اتنا ہی
And in partition, in transforming into the most stunning supernova, one intergalactic traveller whispered to other,
