Amna Suheyl

Location: Lahore, Pakistan

She is a 29-year-old visual artist and curator who graduated from the National College of Arts, Lahore in 2017 from the Department of Fine Arts with a major in Printmaking. Her thesis dealt with the themes of diaspora, migration and archival history of transience. Her work is part of notable collections internationally; the FAN Art Museum’s permanent contemporary art collection in Tokyo, Japan as well as “Authentic Marks” Print collection 2018, Alserkal Avenue, Dubai and the “In Transit” exhibit collection at VETS Gallery in Rhode Island, USA. She was also part of a socially driven exhibit at Monmouth University, New Jersey, USA commemorating the #MeToo movement. She has exhibited locally; Canvas Gallery, Studio Seven, Full Circle, Taseer Art Gallery, O Art Space and Dominion Gallery. She is currently practising independently as a printmaker and, she is a faculty member at the Institute of Art and Culture.
